Rules & Regulations
  1. Contestant must be a naturally born female and reside, go to school or hold property in the state in which she is competing on the date of the state and/or national pageant.
  2. Contestant must be of the following age as of July 1st in the year of the National Pageant:
    • 4 years of age and no older than 6 years of age to compete in the Little Miss Division.
    • 7 years of age and no older than 9 years of age to compete in the Jr. Preteen Division.
    • 10 years of age and no older than 12 years of age to compete in the Preteen Division.
    • 13 years of age and no older than 15 years of age to compete in the Jr. Teen Division.
    • 16 years of age and no older than 18 years of age to compete in the Teen Division.
    • 19 years of age and no older than 25 years of age to compete, and has never been married nor have children in the Miss Division.
    • 26 years of age and older to compete and is currently single or divorced in the Ms. Division.*
    • 19 years of age and older and is currently married in the Mrs. Division.
    • Contestants may be 19 if they are divorced or with child
  3. Contestant or Contestants’ parents (if child is under 18 years of age) affirm that she is and will continue to be a person of good character.
  4. Contestant and Contestant’s Supporters, Guests or Visitors, will conduct themselves in a respectful, professional manner at all times during the state and national pageants. Bad sportsmanship is NOT tolerated and will be grounds for removal of Contestant from the pageant without refund.
  5. Contestant promises not to slander the U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant, its directors, peers, judges, volunteers or anyone else affiliated with the pageant.
  6. National winners may not compete in another U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant state or national competition until they have aged into another division.
  7. Contestant and Contestants’ parents or legal guardians agree to abide by eligibility requirements and affirm that all information provided is true.
  8. Contestant agrees to provide an original copy of her birth certificate to verify age and gender upon request.
  9. The U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant can change the dates and venue of the national pageant as is deemed necessary.
  10. The U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant has the right to refuse anyone entry into the National Pageant.
  11. There will be NO videography or photography allowed at any of the events at the state and national pageant, unless otherwise announced.
  12. One adult only is permitted in dressing room for SLICC I & SLICC II contestants only and will be given a wristband for access.
  13. No boys or men are allowed in dressing rooms at anytime – not even fathers. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  14. Although smoking is not prohibited for those who are of legal age, Contestants are requested not to smoke in public areas.
  15. Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed by any underage contestant throughout the state weekend or national week.
  16. Drugs are not allowed – period.
  17. Contestants MUST abide by all rules. Parents of any contestant not observing all rules will be contacted and the girl will be sent home without refund.
  18. Contestant is required to attend Nationals if selected as State/Regional or Appointed Titleholder with all fees paid.
  19. Contestant is required to attend nationals if selected as a State/Regional or Appointed Titleholder. If contestant is unable to attend nationals, all fees are due in full and crown and banner must be sent back to the national office.
  20. All Fees are Non Refundable.
